Spring represents a time of new beginnings and new life.

It is the perfect time to think about what  you want to cultivate in your own life. Think about the things that are important to you but you are not satisfied with? What are the areas you want to cause a shift in? Where would you like to grow and develop? How can you foster growth in those areas?

Here are some steps for cultivating what is important to you.

1.  Identify an area of your life you are simply putting up with. An area where you have some dissatisfaction or a lack of freedom.

2. Examine that area of your life. Why do you think it exists the way it is? What are the benefits of it existing that way or what is the pay off you get for having it be that way?  What are the negative things about having this part of your life be this way?

3. Clearly identify what that area would look like if it was exactly the way you want it. What would you be doing, or saying? How would you be feeling? What would life be like?

4. Identify how you can close the gap? What shift needs to be made? Create a structure to begin to cause that shift and take action.

5. As you begin to take action, stop and reflect. What is working? What isn't working? Where do I need more support? Do I need to adjust my structures?

Life can be exactly the way we want it.... certainly not overnight.... but we can work on it piece by piece and create the breakthroughs and shifts that leave us totally empowered!

I would love to hear what you have chosen to cultivate this spring!!  Let us know by leaving your comments.
